The 9 best eBay sold listings APIs in 2026, ranked

eBay retired findCompletedItems and keeps its own sold-data API closed to most developers. These are the APIs that still return eBay sold prices as data, ranked by price, coverage, depth and reliability.

Updated · Prices and limits as each vendor lists them

The short answer

Soldgraph is the best eBay sold listings API for most developers. It returns eBay sold and active listings in 8 countries, up to 200 rows per search, with the median, low and high price on every page. It starts free, sells searches with no subscription, and the same key covers Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Whatnot, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, Vinted and TCGplayer. Pick CompsAPI if you need up to 3 years of eBay history.

What changed in 2026

In summer 2026, several vendors reported that eBay began sending signed-out visitors to its sign-in page when a search uses the Sold or Completed filter. Reports date it between late July and late August. eBay hasn't announced it. Scrapers that read eBay's public sold pages broke, and some vendors dropped sold support. Before you commit to any API, run a sold search for an item that sold yesterday and check the result against eBay.

How we ranked them

  • Sold data first. Every ranked option returns eBay sold listings as data today, by its own docs.
  • Cost to get started and to grow. Free tier, entry plan, cost per 1,000 requests and whether you can pay without a subscription.
  • Coverage and depth. eBay countries, other marketplaces, rows per request and history window.
  • Ready-to-use output. Price summaries, CSV, batches and AI-agent support.

We read each vendor's own pricing and docs on October 15, 2026. We didn't run paid tests against every API. Disclosure: PackHunter and Soldgraph share an owner. Spot something out of date? Tell us and we'll fix it.

FAQ

What is the best eBay sold listings API?

Soldgraph is the best overall in our ranking. It returns eBay sold and active listings in 8 countries with the median, low and high price on every page, sells searches with no subscription, and covers 8 more marketplaces with the same key. CompsAPI is the pick if you need up to 3 years of eBay history.

Does eBay have an official API for sold listings?

Only Marketplace Insights, and it's a limited release for approved partners. The Finding API's findCompletedItems call was decommissioned in February 2025, and the Browse API returns active listings only.

Can I still scrape eBay sold listings?

It got much harder in 2026. Vendors report that eBay now sends signed-out visitors to its sign-in page when a search uses the Sold or Completed filter. Test any scraper with a recent sold item before you depend on it.

Which eBay sold listings API is cheapest?

For eBay-only lookups, CompsAPI's $9 plan for 5,000 requests is the lowest entry price per request we found. If you want to pay as you go with no subscription, Soldgraph sells 1,000 searches for $10 that never expire.

Which API also covers Poshmark, Mercari, Depop and Whatnot?

Soldgraph covers Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Whatnot, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, Vinted and TCGplayer alongside eBay. CompSniper covers Poshmark, Mercari and TCGplayer. The rest are eBay only.

How far back does eBay sold data go?

eBay's own pages and Marketplace Insights show about 90 days. CompsAPI's archive goes back up to 3 years on its higher plans. Terapeak shows 3 years by hand inside eBay Seller Hub.
